I did it! I finally ordered my new purse from Dooney and Burke. It's the one I wanted originally, but thought they did not sell them anymore. I guess they ran out of stock or something. Hopefully it will be processed and shipped out tomorrow, so I can get it by the end of the week!
It has a matching wallet, but that will have to wait til my next paycheck I guess :)

Follow Up Doctor Appt
At Aidan's 15 month doctor appointment, we found that he had yet another ear infection, in both ears. Today, we went back for a follow up appointment to see if the ear infections have cleared up. Well, good news is that through all the wax buildup in his ears, the look pretty good. No ear infection this time around! But, he does have an upper respiratory infection/virus with his cough and runny nose. He has had that for about 3 weeks now, and just doesn't seem to get any better. Unfortunately, since it's a virus, we can't do anything about it.
We also have 3 new teeth! His top two incisors have come in within the past couple weeks, and his bottom right incisor is pushing its way through! I can't wait until we get through this teething phase...it's a toughie! He has been using his pacifiers as teething toys lately, and has actually chewed through the silicone part of it. I guess that's how we are going to get rid of the binkie then! Now I doubt Aidan will be happy about it though!
Next appointment is his 18 month check up, let's just hope he makes it til then!

sleep training
Aidan has been having trouble sleeping through the night since forever it seems, and I haven't been the greatest about enforcing him sleeping in his crib. I give in when he wakes up in the middle of the night and bring him to bed with me. Drives Derek crazy cause Aidan is a kicker, and he usually aims for Derek. But, the time has come and we need to start teaching/training Aidan to soothe/comfort himself so he can fall asleep on his own.
So after doing some research, and hearing reviews from other moms who have tried it, we have decided to use Dr. Ferber's sleep method training. Yes, it is the 'cry it out' method, but it has been proven to work. If it doesn't work for Aidan, than we will try something else. But for now, I don't know what else to do. He can't continue to sleep with us, and he needs to learn how to comfort himself during the night. The only problem is that he is teething right now, so that makes things a bit tough. I am such a sucker for him and have a hard time listening to him cry, but I will just have to get over that and do what's best for him.
I ordered the book today and it should be here by this weekend, so hopefully we can get started early next week. Will give an update soon! Wish us luck!
